With a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, Gina leads the Raleigh office of Quicksilver Business Solutions. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for financial performance assessment, budgeting and long-term forecasting, software implementation, policies and procedures, as well as financial statement preparation.
Prior to joining Quicksilver Business Solutions, Gina spent seven years at Duke Medicine where she successfully served as the Manager of Accounting at Duke HomeCare & Hospice and a Financial Management Analyst for Oncology Services at Duke University Hospital. Prior to receiving a graduate degree in Accounting, Gina worked in the accounting department at Cardinal Health (formerly Magellan Labs) in Morrisville, NC. She began her career in finance as a staff accountant at D.S. International, Inc., a paper brokerage firm.
Gina received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude with a concentration in Economics and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She received her CPA license in 2006 and is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Gina also holds a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional designation from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
