With a strong background in accounting and a deep commitment to the community, James joined Quicksilver Business Solutions in October 2011. Before becoming part of the Quicksilver team, James led the accounting department of a candy manufacturing company for seven years. During that time, he also gained experience managing books for construction, service, and retail companies.
On a personal level, James is a dedicated volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Also, he studied Wado-Ryu Karate at the Bushinkai School in Osaka, Japan and competed internationally. Today, he uses his knowledge of the discipline to help children with behavioral challenges.
James received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he founded the Beta Kappa Chapter of the Tau Sigma National Honors Fraternity and became the chapter’s first president.

Keri's past experinces have been wide in range running from audits & reviews, specialities in nonprofits, HOA's and Coops . She does tax preparation in the following areas: Corporate, Fiduciary, Partnerships, Individual along with investigation and resolutions of various IRS and tax notices. She also has managed a group of accountants and been responsible for HR and Payroll functions for a staff of 50. She enjoys annual budget preparation, and has lots of experience in monthly write ups, end of month closes, compilations and financial statement preparation. She understands the small business owner, being one herself.
Keri originally lived in New York, where she worked as a CPA. She moved to North Carolina with her husband Chris, who works in the Insurance Industry and manages the Northeast region at present. They have a beautiful home in Hampstead and have a dog and cat who rule! But, her biggest joy is her son Conner, born in October 2009.

Michelle has 10+ years in financial/banking/customer service managing high volume loan administration. She has experience in small business payroll, and internal compliance issues for banks. Michelle also has worked in marketing and soliciation of new business.
She is experienced with Microsoft Office and Intuit QuickBooks® Financial Software, and BillQuick Software as well.
Michelle graduated from Cape Fear Community College with an Associates Degree in Accounting.She married her husband, Adam, in 2001, and resides in Leland. Together they own and operate a commercial electrical company, whereMichelle supports the accounting operations.As a mother of two young boys, she stays active in her community.
Michelle has recently returned to college to pursue her dreams, and now works for Quicksilver Business Solutions when we have special projects.
